Marlene Hausegger

We are looking forward to present an intervention by Austrian artist Marlene Hausegger as part of her short term residency at OMS with the main focus on public art projects.

“Hausegger often occupies places far removed from art and explores the accessibility and limitations of public space with her works. Ecological issues and sustainability are also central to many of her projects. In her projects, the artist, who attended the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the École des Beaux Arts Montpellier in France as part of her education, draws attention to the advancing climate crisis by using recyclable materials and at the same time fights against it.”
