LEEFWERK : ARTISTS ON TOUR – THE MOVIE @OMS

Niels Coppens and Roman Luterbacher as LEEFWERK are delighted to present the movie they created using the collected footage from their recent tour.
During 3 months they did a tour with a non fictional, guerilla type performance piece. ‘ARTISTS ON TOUR’ is a car that has been converted into a merchandising stand with which they drive into contemporary art centers on their way to show the results of their artistic practice. Their art book has become the central outcome of the show.
It has been made available for purchase, along with their established credibility, through a free donation to the highest bidder during the more interactive phase of the performance.
Through this incredible journey, they have come to realize that becoming an artist can also be an artistic project.
Inspired by this self-assured idea, LEEFWERK has worked on the high-sensitivity events and created a 30-minute film capturing the entire project, titled: “ARTISTS ON TOUR, THE MOVIE.”
