with an invitation to Vincent Villain

Victor Le Guennec’s recent work explores sculptural and film dialogues that reveal suspended narratives. His interest in the thresholds’ notion, relationships, and learning through transmission creates moments of projection. He then questions what should logically occur. “What is expected?” then presents varying degrees of intensity, ranging from the burlesque to the critical, inviting reflection on what remains for us to understand or to explore together. Vincent Villain’s participation in the show with his work “Inframince” – a concept Marcel Duchamp created to describe a nuance or a barely perceptible thinness – adds to the exhibition a different interplay of glances.

Victor Le Guennec, born in 1994, has lived and worked in Athens since 2022. He graduated in 2021 with a Master’s degree from the Superior School of Art and Design in Reims, France. In 2023, he co-created the artist-run space Knead in Athens, which is involved in the neighbourhood of Attiki. There, they share a multidisciplinary approach through a collective practice that intersects food, sculpture, and design. Vincent Villain, born in 1994, lives and works in Reims. He holds a Master’s degree (DNSEP) from the Superior School of Art and Design in Reims, earned in 2021. His multidisciplinary practice spans large-format photography, sculpture, and installations. An active member of the artistic collective «The Left Place The Right Space,» Villain thrives in a collaborative environment that encourages creative exchange and artistic experimentation.
